Horizon Behavioral Consulting Staff
Hilary Stiff, M.Ed., BCBA
Hilary discovered her love for helping families with special needs when she began volunteering with a therapeutic horseback riding program at the age of 16. She was intrigued by the way children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities benefited from interacting with, caring for, and riding horses.
Hilary graduated with a B.S. Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Florida and earned her M.Ed in Special Education from the University of Georgia.
Her areas of expertise include assessment, program development, and implementation of interventions. Treatment plans are designed to promote appropriate behaviors, functional communication, and independent living skills for children and adults who demonstrate characteristics of autism spectrum disorders.
Hilary has been an educator since 2002 and currently practices in the Athens area.
